Villa Pape is a modern villa located in Trogir/Ciovo, on a peaceful and quiet area on a little hill with a fantastic sea view overlooking the bay. The nearest beach is only 200 metres away and the city centre is 1.7 km away. We are well located to reach many famous sights. Villa Pape is situated on a little hill, which will give you a little trouble when arriving for the 1st time, but the superb sea views are worth it. Owned and run by the Rakic family, we pride ourselves on offering a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors seeking a comfortable base for their visit to Trogir. We are offering family friendly bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation. Additional costs: - Car shuttle service available on request. - Boat shuttle to nearby islands and towns and daily boat excursions are available on request while booking the accommodation, or on arrival. - A car rental service is available on request while booking the accommodation, or on arrival.

Since the villa is a member of several sustainable organisations, the details of which you will receive when you book the accommodation, we have a strong sustainable policy which we hope our guests will accept: We concentrate on social consciousness and education by buying goods from the local market, encouraging our guests to use local products and services and providing information regarding Croatian culture and language, because we have noticed that many international guides were giving wrong information.

Food & Beverage

Breakfast is a combination of continental and English foods made according to your wishes, while dinner is traditional Croatian, but simple international meals can be provided. Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 10:00, but we can serve it earlier if needed. Dinner is served according to your request. There is a food tasting program which is perfect for those who wish to sample authentic and traditional Croatian cuisine. We prepare dishes that cannot be found in most restaurants because they come from recipes which have been passed down through generations. Requests for a tasting must be made at least one day in advance, since the meal we prepare will depend on what we find, and what is best, at the local market that morning. We buy the freshest ingredients from local farmers who only grow organic products. We cannot present a menu in advance. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions or preferences so that we may prepare the dishes accordingly.
